A platform for electronic music.
Co-founded in 2016 with my friend Alex, Exobolt is a UK-based independent label built to give talented electronic artists a platform to showcase their craft.
The catalogue spans individual releases, numbered compilations and the Exobolt Worlds series, bringing together music and a distinctive visual world. Artists represented in the catalogue include Skybreak, Mameyudoufu, Stessie, Infowler, MrKoolTrix and Kaval.

02 / Brand identity
One label.
Many worlds.
I coordinated the label’s branding and artwork, connecting the overall identity with the creative expression of each release.
The wordmark combines bold lettering with the cloud-and-lightning symbol. Across the catalogue, that recognisable signature sits alongside changing colour palettes, characters and environments: from the atmospheric skies of the numbered compilations to illustrated space adventures and the miniature planets of Exobolt Worlds.
The work is collaborative. My role brings branding and release artwork together under a coordinated direction, while individual illustrators and designers contribute their own craft.
The label signature
Bold typography. A cloud, a bolt. A recurring mark that connects a visually diverse release catalogue.

Beyond the cover.
A release is more than a listening moment.
For Exobolt 010 in 2023, the label paired the compilation with a free sample pack containing over 300 samples created by the release roster. The campaign invited listeners to pre-save the album to download the pack: connecting release discovery with something producers could use in their own music.
Exobolt 010 sample packIn April 2026, Exobolt and Full Flex Audio released Voyagers, extending the catalogue into a joint label project. Its cover combines original artwork by Sumi with typography and layout by Sky Roses Art.
